Independent & family owned Rubberatkins Ltd has been honoured with the prestigious King’s Award for Enterprise in the International Trade category. The Aberdeen-based company is one of fewer than 200 UK businesses to receive this distinguished recognition in 2025. The award represents the highest honour that can be bestowed on a British Company and is recognised worldwide.

Founded in 1988 by husband & wife team Nick Atkins & Jill Webster, Rubberatkins is a technology-driven company specialising in the design, development, manufacture, and testing of bespoke, high-performance elastomer and plastic components. These critical components, including advanced sealing solutions, are deployed in demanding environments across the energy, semiconductor, aerospace, and other high-tech industries.

Rubberatkins provides end-to-end solutions from initial concept and design to rigorous testing and advanced manufacturing. Its purpose-built Aberdeen headquarters houses cutting-edge material technology and research and development laboratories, production facilities & clean room manufacture.
