HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile Butadiene Rubber)

NBR is an synthetic elastomer widely used in oil & gas, automotive, and industrial applications – need to find out more? Then contact us for information.
Composition: NBR chemically hydrogenated to saturate double bonds in the butadiene segments.

Key Properties:

Improved heat resistance (up to 150–165 °C).

Excellent resistance to oils, fuels, and aggressive chemicals.

Much better ozone, UV, and weathering resistance than NBR.

Higher tensile strength and abrasion resistance.

Temperature Range: ~ −40 °C to +150 °C (some grades up to 165–170 °C).

Typical Uses: High-performance seals, blowout preventer elements, downhole tools, automotive timing belts, and offshore elastomer components.
