About PFAS
Per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) are a group of synthetic chemicals widely used for their exceptional durability and resistance to heat, water, oil, and chemicals. These properties have made PFAS-based materials essential in demanding applications.
However, PFAS used in the compound synthesis are highly persistent in the environment, earning them the label “forever chemicals.” Increasing reviews of global regulation is driving rapid change across material supply which is affecting polymer availability now.
